David is the founder and owner of Play On Physiotherapy. His approach to treatment involves manual therapy and a hands on approach to all treatment for his patients. He has special interests in post-operative rehabilitation to return to sport of elite athletes and sports sideline physiotherapy.

Būn graduated from AUT in 2015 after immigrating from Japan working as Thai massage therapist for over 10 years. He has special interest in musculoskeletal injuries concerning the lower back pain, postural related overuse issues and focuses on techniques for injury prevention and rehabilitation.


Būn also has an interest in snowboarding/skiing type injuries as he was an instructor in Queenstown for a number of years. He is currently completing his postgraduate studies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy to further develop his skillset and knowledge.

Georgina is an exercise and rehabilitation physiotherapist who has vast knowledge and a range of skills and techniques to provide effective treatments for her patients. These include; dry needling, exercise prescription, massage therapy, manual therapy, pre and post-operative rehabilitation, and sideline/sports management.

Georgina completed her Post-Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2020 which included upskilling manual and manipulative techniques. Her main goal as a physiotherapist is to provide effective, holistic treatments for her patients as well as the knowledge and skills to manage their conditions.

Kaylah graduated from AUT in 2017 with a BHSc in Physiotherapy. She particularly enjoys helping patients with gymsport, acrobatics and netball backgrounds, specialising in lower limb rehabilitation and general musculoskeletal injuries. Kaylah has worked as a massage therapist for a number of years and as a physiotherapist is an advocate for functional exercise rehabilitation that is supported by manual relief techniques.

Isabelle graduated from AUT with a

Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy)

in 2014, and since then has worked in Musculoskeletal private practise.

She has a certificate in Dry Needling, and enjoys incorporating this into her treatment alongside manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. Isabelle has been dancing

for over 20 years and still takes classes regularly, along with pilates and circus aerial arts. She uses her experience in

these disciplines to think outside the box

in regards to prescribing exercises to her patients. Isabelle enjoys treating all types

of injuries, but has a special interest in stretching and mobility to help patients

gain better range of motion to help with injury rehabilitation and prevention.



NZRP BHSc (Physiotherapy)

Christopher graduated from AUT in 2017 and specialises in sports rehabilitation with a particular interest in basketball type injuries as he is a competitive athlete himself. He is an advocate for exercise focused rehabilitation for all types of injuries and has particular interest in knee injury rehabilitation from cutting/pivoting sports. Chris’ treatments are emphasised individualised on goal planning and uses various techniques such as massage, dry needling and manual relief techniques to enhance recovery.

Trent graduated from AUT in 2017, and uses a holistic approach to his physiotherapy. Trent uses numerous treatment and rehabilitation styles including dry needling, cupping, and massage to guide his patients towards their ideal goals. He focuses on sport-specific rehabilitation and creates treatments to include a balance of clinical modalities and exercise-based rehabilitation to improve muscle activation, strength, mobility and overall function.

Danni has a special interest in post-operative and sideline management. Whether you are a high performance athlete or humble weekend warrior, Danni will utilize thorough assessment and diagnostic techniques with a focus to improve your overall function, mobility and athletic performance.


With years of experience as a massage therapist and gym trainer, Danni is able to provide a hands-on approach accompanied by a strong emphasis on exercise prescription, to provide individually tailored rehabilitation plans with further implementation of injury prevention strategies.

Senior Acupuncturist

NZASA BHSc (Chinese Medicine)

Hugh graduated from New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine with Bachelor's degree in Health Science Major in Chinese Medicine.

The services he provides are soft and less intensive methods of Oriental Medicine which include Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Tuina, general oriental medical dietary and lifestyle advice.




Roman graduated from Otago University in 2020 with a BPthy. His approach to treatment incorporates a mix of manual therapy, dry needling and functional exercise rehabilitation. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients to set realistic short and long term goals. Roman’s background in rugby has sparked a keen interest in strength and conditioning and the role nutrition plays in achieving peak performance.
